The Washington Post Company Enters New Revolving Credit Agreement
March 20, 1998 at 12:00 AM EST
WASHINGTON -- The Washington Post Company said today it has entered into a new $500 million revolving credit agreement with a group of banks headed by Citibank, N.A., as arranger and administrative agent, and Wachovia Bank, N.A., as documentation agent.
This agreement replaces a $300 million revolving credit facility that the company has had in place since January 1996.
As was the case with the prior facility, the new facility will be available to support the issuance of commercial paper by the company; any borrowings under the facility can be used for general corporate purposes.
