Emily Derr Firippis is the assistant treasurer of Graham Holdings Company. She is responsible for oversight and administration of all cash management activities and banking relationships. Firippis joined the Company in November 2014 as corporate cash manager and was elected to her current position in 2016. Prior to joining the Company, she held several positions in treasury and finance at Lockheed Martin Corporation where she began her career.
Firippis also serves as the assistant treasurer of the Philip L. Graham Fund and is a certified treasury professional (CTP). She is also a member of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP).
Firippis graduated with a BS in finance from the University of Maryland, College Park and received her MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
